Winter is here....

I love snowflakes and frost. Here are a couple pictures of the hood of my car one morning last week. I just have figure out something to make with them:

New Milk Cartons I am working on...

Here is a quick pick of the files I am currently working on. I hope to release the sets over the next few day, starting later today with a couple of new milk carton printables. My favorite is the Santa carton (top centre) and there several more designs to match this one.

The Elf Gift Bags will be bundled in a set that includes the bags, cocoa packets and chocolate bar wrappers.

Peeking out from under the Santa carton is one of two petal boxes and I am planning to release as Freebies. Watch for them.

I am also working on releasing cutting files for the milk carton and fancy gable box so you can use your Silhouette and Print & Cut. 

Freebie - cutting files

Since I am still working on my Holiday Word Art set, I thought I might throw up a file to get you excited to see what I come up with once I am finished.

This is just one example of what's coming:

Cut it out of vinyl, paper, card stock, etc. Apply it to a mirror, a door, a scrapbook page, a card.  Download the SVG (Right click and Save Link as) for Sure Cuts A Lot 2 or the Studio file for Silhouette Studio.
Let me know what you come up with.

Book launch & Stitch`n`Bitch with Leanne Prain - Free Pattern download

Join Leanne Prain (co-author of Yarn Bombing: The Art of Crochet and Knit Graffiti) Sunday, October 2, at 2:00pm at McNally Robinson for a book launch and stitch and bitch.

Leanne, along with Winnipeg contributor and fibre artist Takashi Iwasaki, will be celebrating the launch of her new book Hoopla: The Art of Unexpected Embroidery which profiles the world`s most provocative embroidery artists and includes 28 patterns for readers to create.

The event includes a visual talk about subversive embroidery and yarn bombing, as well as a book signing and stitch ‘n’ bitch. Bring your projects/crewel intentions and get down to the knitty-gritty with Leanne following the talk and book signing.  The event will also include a door prize draw of embroidery schwag from floss sponsor DMC.

They are offering a free pattern from the book - the Home Invasion project which involves stitching insect intruders onto already embroidered linens in the home—place mats, table cloths, pillow cases, etc.

I recieved a request to make the Monogram alphabet cutting file set without the split. It is available for sale in my store at Monogram Silhouette Cutting File set.

These would be great on a tile, a  mirror, a wall on a clear plate - a wonderful gift for someone special.

I am working on a new cube box/basket set. I just can't decide how many little monsters I will include. It's going to look like my popular Little Duck basket, pictured below, or the Christmas Elves baskets further back on my blog.

Starting early - Christmas in July

Here is a peak at some things that will be released very shortly. I've begun designing printables for Christmas time. These are the Elf Cocoa Packets. I am also working on Snowmen and Santa packets.

Sale this Weekend!

I haven't had time to post my latest designs to my own shop so I decided to have a sale on another on where I sell my designs - Aimee Asher - Winnipeg Crafts.

I have some cute designs up including Family themed Magnetic Sticky Note Holders and Super Kids Gift Bags (comes with large and small bags). Don't forget I also have some Father's Day cards and bags and some scrapbook elements all included in the sale.

New product released

I intend to scan pictures of children in and make some albums. I intend to make some chipboard albums for my grandsons and mail them to the UK (after the postal strike is finished). I always intend to get so much done but the weekend gets away from me. It's now supper time on Sunday and I have laundry to do for my work week, the floors to wash and the bathrooms to clean. I'd rather craft. So here I am at my computer sharing some files I posted in various sites I sell from. They will be available on Winnipeg Crafts this evening. There is even a free Canada Day card.
